DANIEL CASTILLO
Founder & Principal
Born and raised in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, Daniel Castillo is the founder and principal of Uniq Installs. After serving in the United States Marine Corps in aviation hydraulics, Daniel transitioned into the audiovisual industry, working for a premier A/V company before establishing Uniq Installs, LLC at the age of 21 in 2022.
His approach to the business reflects much of what shaped him in the Marine Corps: preparation, discipline, attention to detail, and accountability for the finished result. Today, Daniel oversees Uniq Installs while remaining directly involved in the technical side of projects, from initial consultations and system design through installation and final commissioning.
Proud of his Dominican heritage, Daniel is committed to physical fitness and continuous learning. He enjoys spending time with his family and is rarely far from something new to study—whether that's emerging technology, business, design, or another subject that can sharpen the way he thinks and works.
JONATHAN PAGAN
A/V Installation Technician
Born and raised in Elizabeth, New Jersey, Jonathan Pagan brings more than seven years of professional A/V experience to the Uniq Installs team. He began his career in the audio/video industry directly out of high school, spending seven years with a premier A/V company where he developed a strong foundation in professional installation, system integration, and attention to detail.
Jonathan later spent seven years in the trucking industry before returning to technical work, including approximately two years as a technician with Coca-Cola. Today, he works full-time with Uniq Installs, bringing his technical experience, practical problem-solving, and hands-on approach to residential and commercial projects.
Proud of his Puerto Rican heritage and a father of three, Jonathan enjoys playing basketball and spending time working on projects around the house with his father.
