A: AuraLux is the name of our premium whole-home audio service category. It features clean, in-ceiling speaker systems powered by modern streaming amps, with seamless multi-zone control and scalable audio coverage — designed for any room, indoors or out.

 

Q: What’s the difference between your audio packages and your home theater packages?

A: Our audio packages focus on whole-home music — perfect for entertaining, relaxing, or setting a vibe in different rooms. Our home theater packages are designed for immersive viewing in a single space, with larger displays and cinematic sound systems.

 

Q: What’s the difference between the AuraLux tiers?
A:

  • Tier 1: Essential Audio – Ideal for 1–2 zones. Includes a single amplifier and in-ceiling speakers for casual, high-quality music in select rooms.

  • Tier 2: Performance Audio – Designed for 3–5 zones. Features Sonos Amps and premium KEF speakers for immersive sound throughout your home.

  • Tier 3: Prestige Audio Suite – Built for large or custom homes. Supports 8+ zones with Sonos by Sonance speakers, optional rack integration, and future-ready wiring.

Q: Can I play different music in each room?
A: Yes! Every AuraLux system supports multi-zone control. You can stream different content in each zone or group them together using the Sonos or WiiM app, depending on your tier.

 

Q: What apps or platforms do your systems work with?
A:

  • Tier 1: WiiM Home app — supports AirPlay 2, Chromecast, Spotify Connect, and more.

  • Tier 2 & 3: Sonos app — intuitive control, multi-room grouping, voice assistant support, and integration with services like Apple Music, Spotify, and Pandora.

Q: What is a “zone”?

A: A zone refers to a separate area in your home that can play its own audio — for example, the kitchen, living room, bedroom, or backyard. Each zone can be controlled independently or grouped for synchronized playback.

Q: Can I add more zones later?
A: Yes. Our systems are fully expandable. You can start small and grow your audio system over time. Additional zones are typically $999 each, which includes installation, speakers, and amplifier configuration.

 

Q: What’s the difference between 6” and 8” speakers?
A: 8” speakers offer deeper bass and fuller sound, especially in large rooms. In Tier 3, you can upgrade to 8” Sonos by Sonance speakers to replace the standard 6” models for even greater performance.

 

Q: Can you hide the equipment and wires?
A: Yes. We install in-ceiling speakers with clean wall plate terminations. Optional rack-mount setups are available in Tier 3, and we offer in-wall wiring wherever accessible. For new construction, we highly recommend pre-wiring.

Q: Do I need to pre-wire my home?

A: If you're in new construction or planning a renovation, pre-wiring is highly recommended for the cleanest install and most flexibility. We offer pre-wire packages tailored to each tier.

Q: Can this integrate with my smart home or automation system?

A: Yes. Tier 2 and Tier 3 systems can be integrated with smart home platforms like Control4, Lutron, or Savant. Custom programming and hardware may be required — we’ll guide you through it.

 

Q: Do I get training on how to use the system?

A: Yes! Every package includes setup and training. We'll walk you through the app, show you how to control each zone, and answer all your questions.​
